The Cairngorms and surrounding areas are very poorly served by BT’s legacy copper broadband network.
Whilst some properties are set to be served under the Scottish Government’s R100 fibre contract, around 1500 homes and businesses have been deemed to be technically and or/commercially unviable by BT, and therefore won’t be served under either the R100 scheme or commercial deployment plans.
We created our Cairngorm network to address this challenge and have been rolling our a combination of full-fibre and radio based broadband services since 2022. Our network originates in Grantown-on-Spey and covers a huge geographical area to the East of Grantown. Further network build is underway and we hope to delivering service to many more areas very soon.
We offer packages suitable for both home and business users, using direct line-of-sight radios to connect customers back to our mast network.
