SSRA All Ranges Denwood 2008

A small group travelled to Denwood Aberdeen for an all-distances match. Dry but gusty
Class B
    Dr Malone 2nd comp 1 (25 yards), 3rd double Dewar, 3rd overall (countback) with 1140x1200, winner was 1142x1200
Class C
    Seoc Malone 3rd comp 1(25 yrds)
    Seoc Malone 1121x1200, Alisdair Reid 1105x1200, Maria Bexley 1090x1200
Class E
    Scott Bell 1st comp 1, 1st Double Dewar 1062x1200
    Bruce Dickson 2nd comp 1, 2nd Double Dewar 1016x1200

Highland Region (G Buchan, G Bremner, J Henderson, Dr Malone, S Malone, M Bexley) were in last place with a score of 1933x2000. Lothian, the winners scored 1948x2000 - so despite being last we were not badly gubbed! This is the first time Highland had fielded an inter-region team for some time.

28/7/2007 Wick SSRA GP (Conditions were extremely windy)- Dr Malone was placed 3rd (bronze medal) in the GP match with 563 (37 off), 1st had 566 (34 off) and 2nd also had 563 (37 off). He was ?8th in the C/D finals. Seoc Malone shooting with his new stock qualified for the same finals where he came 10th.

7/7/2007 SSRA GP match at Denwood cancelled due to inclimate weather (Part of Scottish at Lauder)

3/6/2007 SSRA GP Dr Malone was placed 2nd (silver medal) in the Denwood SSRA match on the 3/6/2007 - Outdoor 60 shot prone 50m with a score of 586 (which included a possible and a 99), and qualified to get a 2nd in the C/D finals ina 40 short 50m round with a score of 386. He is top of the SSRA GP table with 15 points. Ms Bexley got a personal best on 50m of 560. S Malone was on 550 and B Dixon on 528.

6/5/2007 SSRA GP Dr Malone was placed 3rd in the Denwood SSRA qualifying match on 6/5/2007 - Outdoor 60 shot prone 50m - and went on to win the C/D finals in a 40 shot 50m round. He is top of the SSRA GP table with 9 points.
